Where?: 

Kakum National Park, Hans Cottage & Oguaa Football for Hope

As part of the course requirement for EPH 281: Introduction to Leisure Education, Course Tutor, Mr. Thomas Hormenu and Level 200 students will undergo field trips to Kakum National Park, Hans Cottage and Oguaa FIFA Football for Hope Centre on the 9th November, 2015 to have first-hand information on the extent to which Ghanaians promote their health through recreation and leisure time pursuit. Students are expected to interact with the staff of the Kakum National Park and tourists at the park on what they want as participants to make recreation and tourism part of our way of life in Ghana. From there, students will move to Hans cottage for site seeing of Crocodiles. Students will then move to Oguaa FIFA Football for Hope Centre, to interact with the staff and understand how the centre through football is curbing away streetism in Cape Coast and its environ. As part of the course's demand, students will present two page report on the role of these centres, food vendors and the wayforward of leisure education in Ghana in health promotion through recreation and leisure time pursuit.
